The promise and the potential of COTS software products in the aerospace and defense community have been obvious for years. Yet many projects that adopt these technologies meet with modest results. Initial efforts yield great promise but are hamstrung by seemingly “minor technical issues”. At ADS our innovation is in the process of using and developing solutions with COTS products. Our key management staff have years of experience developing, documenting, training, supporting, marketing and selling such products. Our technical understanding of these technologies, our familiarity with their business processes, and our proven experience delivering COTS-centric solutions delivers that potential to our clients.

Past organizational past performance and proven experience with our software partners’ products uniquely positions ADS to provide high-end training services with those products. Rather than focusing efforts on the details of a particular product ADS concentrates on a particular subject and applies relevant products to that problem. For instance our training team provides a class on designing lunar trajectories using STK/Astrogator rather than a more generic class on using the Astrogator product.
