Hosted by the Rocky Mountain Section of the AAS, the conference focuses on novel applications of spacecraft and sensor GNC research to the entire life cycle of space missions. Drawing attendance largely from the spacecraft industry rather than the research community, the conference also held sessions on spacecraft GNC history and lessons learned from recent space missions. In the Satellite Servicing session, Jason Westphal and Christopher Roscoe presented a mission concept for a Re-usable Bird’s-Eye View for On-Orbit Satellite Servicing using CubeSats called the Augmented Situational Awareness Satellite, or ASAS, mission, building on heritage from the CPOD mission.
